    # THE SHARED WALL
    ## Episode 7: “EVERYBODY BRING A DISH”
    ### INT. TESSA’S APARTMENT - MORNING
Tessa stands before the paper-thin shared wall, holding a phone on speaker. Marcus and Nisha listen from the other side.
    LANDLORD (V.O.)
Inspection tomorrow. I’ll be checking for damage, clutter, and unauthorized alterations.
    Everyone freezes.
    TESSA
    Define “alterations.”
    NISHA (O.S.)
    The wall is breathing.
A tiny bulge pushes through the wallpaper.
    OWEN (O.S.)
    That’s my bookshelf.
    MARCUS
Why is your bookshelf in the wall?
    OWEN (O.S.)
Because my apartment has run out of dimensions.
    Tessa turns to camera, horrified.
    TESSA
We have twelve hours to look like responsible adults.
    ### INT. HALLWAY - LATER
    A frantic makeover montage:
    — Nisha labels a box: “NORMAL PERSONAL ITEMS.”
    — Marcus sprays air freshener directly into a smoke detector.
    — Owen carries a mountain of laundry toward the wall.
    — Tessa holds a clipboard like a military commander.
    TESSA
Rule one: nothing visible. Rule two: no evidence of pets, hobbies, or emotional instability.
    MARCUS
    What about the parrot?
A parrot pops its head out of a laundry basket.
    PARROT
    Emotional instability!
    NISHA
We hide it in the wall.
    ### INT. TESSA’S APARTMENT - MOMENTS LATER
They shove a couch cushion through a loose section of wall. It pops into Nisha’s apartment.
    NISHA (O.S.)
    I received a sofa.
    TESSA
    Great. Keep pushing.
One by one, objects disappear through the wall: a vacuum, three bicycles, a stack of unpaid bills, a blinking novelty sign, and Owen himself—briefly.
    OWEN (O.S.)
There’s a lot of stuff back here!
    MARCUS
    That’s tomorrow’s problem.
    The wall groans.
    ### INT. SHARED WALL CAVITY - CONTINUOUS
Owen is wedged between furniture, boxes, and a Christmas tree. Tessa’s hand reaches through beside him. Nisha’s face appears through another hole.
    NISHA
    Nobody panic.
    MARCUS (O.S.)
    I’m not panicking. I’m inventorying.
    TESSA (O.S.)
    Can you move?
    OWEN
    I can rotate emotionally.
The wall suddenly collapses inward. A wave of clutter pours into all three apartments, trapping everyone in a single, chaotic heap.
    ### INT. HALLWAY - MOMENTS LATER
    The landlord’s footsteps approach.
    LANDLORD (O.S.)
    Hello?
The neighbors stare at the wreckage.
    MARCUS
    Okay. New plan.
    TESSA
    We pretend this is intentional.
    NISHA
    A community installation.
    OWEN
    Called “Collapse.”
The landlord opens the door. The four neighbors stand shoulder-to-shoulder in the debris, smiling.
    LANDLORD
    What happened here?
    A beat.
    PARROT
    Unauthorized alterations!
    Everyone glares at Owen.
    OWEN
    The bird said it.
The landlord looks at the wall, then at the pile.
    LANDLORD
    Honestly? I’ve seen worse.
    He exits.
    The neighbors exhale.
    TESSA
    We survived.
A final box falls from the wall, revealing a second, smaller wall behind it.
    MARCUS
Wait. How many walls do we share?
    NISHA
    Don’t touch it.
    The parrot leans toward camera.
    PARROT
    Everybody bring a dish!
    CUT TO BLACK.
